Change proxy settings for WiFi in Android without root

This article will show you in 5 steps how to change proxy server settings for particular Wi-Fi connection in Android without root needed.

This will work for most of apps. You also can specify credentials – password and username for proxy server.

1. Turn on Wi-Fi to see a list of networks

   

2. Select network for which you want to set the proxy. You don’t have to be connected to this network.

   

3. Tap Modify network

   

4. Select Show advanced options.

   Connected network	Not connected network

5. Select Manual proxy type.
   In Proxy hostname and Proxy port type in your proxy details.
