How to Enter and Exit Offline mode in Firefox

Table of Contents

Offline mode in the browser is often very handy when you have problems with the Internet connection. By enabling this option, Firefox will read website information from the local cache. The data will not be fresh, but at least you will have access to it and not see the window with the connection error.

Of course, this depends on the cache settings etc. But in most cases it works out of the box.

Enable Offline mode

  1. Go to Menu (top right three lines button), click More

    firefox-work-offline-more-settings
  2. Click Work Offline

Disable Offline mode

  1. Go to Menu (top right three lines button), click More

    firefox-work-offline-more-settings
  2. To disable Offline mode, simply click Work Offline again.
